Adding your first pair and what "Preparing" means
How to add a coin from the Dashboard, how the coin limit and the 24-hour coin lock work, and what the rare Preparing card means.
Adding a pair
- Open the Dashboard.
- Click the box Add pair: search, then pick from the list ▾ and type part of a name (for example
SOL). - Pick a coin from the list with the mouse or the arrow keys and Enter. A green dot next to a coin means it is fully prepared and adds instantly.
- A card for the coin appears in the grid and a toast confirms added, analysis ready.
You can follow as many coins as your plan allows (Starter 5, Pro 12, Elite 25, Max all coins). When the limit is reached the box is greyed out with Plan limit reached. See Plans and limits.
The coin lock
Next to the box the coin bar shows how many coins you use, for example Coins 4/5.
- Your first add or remove opens a 1-hour edit window. The bar turns amber: Editing coins ... finalise within N min.
- Click Finalise coins when your list is right (you are asked to confirm), or let the hour run out: either way the list is then fixed for 24 hours and the bar shows Coins final until ....
- After the 24 hours you can change it again.
The full explanation is in Choosing your coins and the 24-hour lock.
What "Preparing" means
All coins in the list are prepared in advance: history back to 2018 and the full analysis are already done, so nearly every coin is ready from the first second.
Rarely (for example a brand-new listing) a coin still needs its history downloaded and analysed. Its card then shows a Preparing strip with the current stage, a percentage and an estimated time. While it prepares:
- the chart already streams live prices;
- the Pattern Engine card says the history is not analysed yet. Do not act on a call shown before preparation finishes;
- the Crash Radar uses its rule-based score until its models are trained.
After that the coin is retrained automatically, and every closed candle is analysed live.
Shared analysis
Market data and analysis are computed once per coin and shared by everyone who follows it. Removing a coin from your list never stops it for anyone else, and adding it back later is instant.
Starting and stopping
The toggle at the right of a card header pauses or resumes analysis for you: a paused coin shows paused, keeps streaming the chart and raises no signals or alerts. Pausing does not free a slot in your coin limit; removing the coin does.
Tip: if a coin sits at the same Preparing stage for a long time, see Troubleshooting.
