Glossary - every term on the chart and in the cards

Pair Model, Flow Model, EV, Stop piles, OHLC, LONG / SHORT, entry, SL, TP, lock and trail, FVG, OB, BOS, CHoCH, SWEEP, UT buy / sell, ADX, POC, the expected candle and more - each with a worked example.

Every label you see in the app, in alphabetical groups, with a small example in numbers. The examples use a coin trading near 100.00 so the arithmetic is easy to follow.

Candles and prices

Term What it means Example
Candle One block of time on the chart (1 minute, 5 minutes, 1 hour ...). It shows where the price started, how high and low it went, and where it ended. A 5m candle = 5 minutes of trading.
O / H / L / C (OHLC) Open, High, Low, Close of a candle. The row above the chart shows them for the candle under your mouse. O 100.00 · H 100.80 · L 99.60 · C 100.50
OC / body The part of the candle between the Open and the Close. Green when the close is above the open, red when below. The thin lines above and below are the wicks (how far price reached and came back). O 100.00, C 100.50 = a green body of 0.50.
V Volume traded in that candle. V 1.2K
Timeframe (TF) The candle size you are looking at: 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1d ... "15m" in a card means it refers to the 15-minute chart.
Forming candle The candle still open on the right edge. It can still change. Signals in the app are only taken from closed candles. At 10:07 the 10:05 5m candle is still forming.

Trade words

Term What it means Example
LONG A trade that profits when the price goes up. Shown in green. Buy at 100.00, sell at 101.00 = +1 %.
SHORT A trade that profits when the price goes down. Shown in red. Sell at 100.00, buy back at 99.00 = +1 %.
Entry The price where a trade starts. Entry 100.00
SL (stop loss) The price where a losing trade is closed automatically, so a loss stays small. LONG at 100.00 with SL 99.00 = at most −1 % of price.
TP (take profit), TP1 / TP2 Target prices where profit is taken. TP1 is the nearer one, TP2 the further one. LONG 100.00, TP1 101.00, TP2 102.00
Lock After a small move in your favour the stop is pulled to a profit, so the trade can no longer lose. LONG 100.00 reaches 100.30 → stop moves to ~100.27.
Trail After the lock, the stop follows the price and keeps a share of the best move. "Trail 90 %" keeps 90 % of the best profit reached. Best price 101.00 (+1 %) → stop at about +0.9 % = 100.90.
R:R (reward : risk) How far the target is compared with the stop. Stop 1 % away, target 2 % away = R:R 2.
Leverage (x) Margin multiplied. 30x means a 1 % price move is 30 % of your margin. $10 margin x30 = a $300 position.
Margin Your own money in the trade. $10
Liquidation The price where the exchange closes the position because the margin is used up. A stop is always placed before it. At 30x, roughly 3 % against you.
PnL Profit and loss. "Net" means after fees and funding. +$2.40 net
Paper / Demo Simulated trades at live prices - no real money. "Demo - Hybrid Approach"

Label What it means Example
▲ / ▼ swing A confirmed swing low / swing high: a candle lower (higher) than the three on each side. ▼ over 101.20 = a swing high there.
BOS (break of structure) A close beyond the last swing in the direction of the trend - the trend continues. In an up-trend, a close above the swing high 101.20 = BOS.
CHoCH (change of character) The first close beyond a swing against the trend - an early sign the trend may be turning. After a down-trend, a close above the last swing high = CHoCH.
SWEEP Price pokes beyond a swing (where many stops sit) and closes back inside. Often a trap before a move the other way. Wick to 98.90 under the swing low 99.00, close at 99.30 = sweep.
FVG (fair value gap) A gap left by a fast move: three candles where the first and the third do not overlap. Price often comes back to "fill" it. Candle 1 high 100.00, candle 3 low 100.40 → FVG 100.00 - 100.40.
OB (order block) The last candle against the move just before a BOS / CHoCH - an area where big orders were placed. Price often reacts when it returns there. The last red candle 99.60 - 100.00 before a strong up-break.
SUP xN / RES xN Support (green band) / resistance (red band) zones: several swing lows (highs) at about the same price. N = how many times price turned there. RES x3 at 102.00 - 102.20
POC / VAH / VAL Volume profile of recent candles: POC = price with the most trading, VAH / VAL = top / bottom of the area where 70 % of the volume traded. POC 100.10, VAH 100.80, VAL 99.40
range (box) A blue box when price has been moving sideways in a tight range. Breakouts from it are watched. 20 candles inside 99.80 - 101.20
A▲ / B▼ Small markers for two classic pattern setups. Information only, not a trade.
TREND ▲ / ▼ The current market structure direction on this timeframe.
ADX Trend strength 0-100. A low ADX means a sideways market; the Hybrid Approach rules do not trade then. ADX 26.4 = trending, ADX 14 = sideways.
at support / at resistance Price is sitting on one of the zones. A LONG into resistance or a SHORT into support is avoided.

The expected candle (EXP)

Label What it means Example
this candle: expected high / low Where the candle forming now usually reaches, measured on this coin's own recent candles of this timeframe. Shown as a grey ghost candle behind the live one. expected high ~100.31 (+0.31 %), expected low ~99.68 (−0.32 %)
8/10 reach The ends of the dotted lines: 8 out of 10 candles stay inside them. high usually stays under 100.60
right N % of the last 100 How often that 8-in-10 range was right on this chart recently - a live accuracy check. right 79 % of the last 100

Hide it with the EXP button. More in The expected candle.

UT Bot

Label What it means Example
UT buy / UT sell A trend-following signal: the price crossed its trailing line. Only shown on closed candles, so it never disappears afterwards. "UT buy" arrow under the 10:15 candle.
stop (in the UT card) Where the UT line is now - a close beyond it flips the signal. stop 99.40
target ~ The typical move of this coin's recent UT trades. Half of them got this far. target ~100.70 (+0.70 %, half get there)
near / far Levels reached by 3 in 4 and by 1 in 4 of those trades. near 100.30 · far 101.40
MOVE DONE The current UT trade has already made its typical move. Not a fresh signal - wait for the next one. SELL · MOVE DONE
may flip on close The forming candle would flip the UT side if it closed now. Not a signal yet. ⚠ may flip to BUY when this candle closes

Signals, models and algorithms

Term What it means
Pair Model The flagship model. Every 30 minutes it scores about 50 liquid USDT perpetuals, weighs a long against a short and many take-profit / stop shapes, and keeps the set-up with the best expected result after fees. See The Pair Model and the model picker.
Model picker The Model box in a pair page header: Pair Model, Flow Model or Pattern Engine. It switches the prediction block and the levels drawn on the chart.
Flow model Reads every closed 5-minute bar of a coin and estimates the expected result of a LONG and of a SHORT, and the chance of reaching small targets before the stop.
Pattern Engine 30+ chart patterns on every timeframe, each checked against the coin's own history; its conclusion card says LONG / SHORT / LEAN / WAIT.
EV (expected result) The average result a call like this had per trade in testing, after fees, in % of the position. Positive is better; it is an estimate, not a promise.
Win chance How often calls like this reached their take-profit before the stop in testing.
Strength "x of its bar" How strong the Flow Model's call is compared with the level this coin needs before it is worth a trade. Higher is stronger.
Confidence % How sure a signal is, on a 0-100 % scale. An account's "from X % conf" setting skips weaker ones.
Consensus The Pattern Engine's combined view of its techniques on all timeframes (LONG / SHORT / LEAN / WAIT).
Crash risk The chance of a sharp drop soon, from the Crash Radar.
Liquidation map / Stop piles Estimated piles of stops and liquidations above and below the price. On an open trade, ✕ is the biggest pile against it and ✓ the biggest in its favour. See The liquidation map and Stop piles.
Hybrid Approach Algorithm Flow Model auto-trading rules: only strong calls, never into a nearby zone, never in a sideways market, with a volatility-sized stop, profit lock and trailing exit.
Backfill Entry Algorithm The Hybrid rules plus agreement of the chart structure and UT Bot; instead of buying at once it waits inside the signal candle for a better price. See Auto-trading algorithms.
MA / EMA Moving averages: the average price of the last N candles, drawn as a line.

Managing a trade and an account

Term What it means
Re-analyse Re-scores an open trade on fresh data and suggests hold, push the stop out or exit, with how similar past situations ended. See Re-analyse an open trade.
Edit Change an open trade's stop-loss and take-profit at any time.
Close % Close any part of a position now at market, or when the price reaches a level you choose. See Close % and editing stop / target.
SL past pile Moves the stop just past the biggest liquidation pile on the trade's losing side, after a preview.
BE (break-even) Moves the stop to the entry plus the round-trip fees, so the trade cannot lose.
Max margin / trade The margin of each trade on a coin. A long and a short open together use twice this.
Daily budget A daily loss budget per coin: the coin stops trading for the day once today's net loss on it reaches this amount.
Ask me / Auto Ask me: a signal becomes a proposal you approve. Auto: it is traded at once within your limits.
Coin lock After you change your coin list you have one hour to finalise; then the list is fixed for 24 hours. See Choosing your coins.
