Technical ratings gauges
The Oscillators, Summary and Moving averages gauges, what feeds them and how to read the indicator table.
What they show
On every pair page, under the prediction block, you see three semicircular gauges in the style of TradingView's technical ratings:
| Gauge | Inputs |
|---|---|
| Oscillators | RSI (14), Stochastic, CCI (20), ADX (14), Awesome Oscillator, Momentum (10), MACD, Stochastic RSI, Williams %R (14), Bull Bear Power, Ultimate Oscillator. |
| Moving averages | EMA and SMA at several lengths, Ichimoku base line, VWMA (20), Hull Moving Average (9). |
| Summary · tf | Both groups combined for the chart's timeframe. |
Each indicator votes buy, sell or neutral. The gauge needle is the average vote from -1 (every indicator sells) to +1 (every indicator buys), and the label under it follows fixed cut-offs:
| Score | Label |
|---|---|
| above +0.5 | Strong buy |
| +0.1 to +0.5 | Buy |
| -0.1 to +0.1 | Neutral |
| -0.5 to -0.1 | Sell |
| below -0.5 | Strong sell |
The counts under each gauge (Sell n · Neutral n · Buy n) tell you how many indicators sit in each camp. Hover a gauge for the exact score.
Live behaviour
The gauges refresh every two seconds while the tab is visible, and the forming candle is updated with the very latest tick before the indicators are computed. That means the needle can move between candle closes, which is intended: it reflects where the current candle would close right now.
The gauges follow the chart's timeframe. Switch the timeframe with the chart buttons or the timeframe ladder and the gauges recompute.
Indicator table
On the pair detail page click Show indicators under the gauges to open two tables, one for oscillators and one for moving averages, with the current value and the action of every indicator. Hover an indicator name for the rule it uses. Hide indicators closes them again.
How this relates to the models
The gauges are a quick, familiar read of the raw indicator state. They are not a model call. The Pair Model, the Flow Model and the Pattern Engine (chosen with the Model picker in the page header) each judge the coin by what actually worked on its own history, after costs. A Strong buy gauge next to a Pair Model short, or a Pattern Engine WAIT, is common: the raw indicators agree, but history does not back that direction right now. See The Pair Model and the model picker.
Note: the gauges work as soon as a few hundred candles exist, even on a coin that is still preparing.
Tip: compare the Summary gauge across timeframes using the timeframe ladder. Indicators that agree on 1h, 4h and 1d carry more weight in your own judgement than a strong 5m reading on its own.
