Chart controls

Timeframe buttons, the MA / VOL / SMC / EXP / PAT / MODEL / ORD / RANGE / LIQ / Studies toggles (Layers on a phone), model levels, the scrollbar, the Latest button and the data-health chip.

Where the chart is

The large chart sits at the top of every pair page (Dashboard cards are summaries; click one to open its page). It is about 460 pixels tall on a desktop and smaller on tablets and phones.

Toolbar

The row above the chart has the timeframe buttons (1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, 1d, 1w, 1M) on the left and the toggles on the right:

Button Effect
Studies Extra indicators, for example UT Bot, Supertrend and EMAs. See The UT Bot card.
MA Moving averages: SMA20 (yellow), SMA60 (blue), SMA200 (purple).
VOL Volume histogram under the candles.
SMC The market-structure layer: swings, BOS / CHoCH, fair value gaps, order blocks, sweeps, support / resistance zones and the volume profile. See The SMC chart layer.
EXP The expected-candle ghost (needs SMC on). See The expected candle.
PAT Pattern overlay: dashed lines for a forming pattern, solid for a confirmed one, with neckline, target and invalidation.
MODEL The Flow Model's reading on every candle as a strip under the chart, and its lean projected forward from the last closed candle (needs SMC on).
⇕ Chart height and price-axis zoom.
⛶ Fullscreen chart.
ORD Your own trades on this coin: entry / exit markers and the entry, SL, TP and liquidation lines of open ones.
RANGE How far the coin is likely to move up and down in each time span.
LIQ Where leveraged longs and shorts get liquidated, and which pile is bigger. See Liquidation map, Stop piles and SL past pile.

On a phone the toolbar keeps only the timeframes, Layers, ⇕ and ⛶: tap Layers to switch MA, VOL, SMC, EXP, PAT, MODEL, ORD, RANGE and LIQ on or off and to pick studies. The number on the button is how many are on.

Toggle choices are remembered in this browser. The chosen timeframe is remembered per coin.

The top-left corner shows O H L C V of the candle under the mouse, or of the last candle.

Model levels

The Model picker in the pair page header also changes what the chart draws:

  • Pair Model: the Pair Model's open call, or the stronger side of its newest reading at the live price, as entry, TP1 and SL lines with a red risk zone and a coloured reward zone. See The Pair Model and the model picker.
  • Flow Model: the active flow set-up's levels while it is live.
  • Pattern Engine: the best pattern's levels (with PAT on).

Moving around

The bar under the chart is the scrollbar:

  • ◀ and ▶ shift the view back or forward.
  • Drag the slider to jump anywhere in the loaded history; drag the chart or use the mouse wheel to zoom.
  • Older candles load automatically when you reach the left edge. The counter on the right tells you how many bars are loaded.

Latest jumps to the newest candle, re-fits the price axis and follows live again. Scrolling back switches following off so the chart does not jump while you study old price action.

Pattern drawings from history

Click a row in the Pattern history tab to draw that pattern on the chart. The chart switches to the pattern's timeframe and focuses on it. Switching timeframe clears the drawing.

Data-health chip

An amber chip may appear at the top right of the chart:

  • data mismatch detected · repairing / repaired: a gap or divergence between stored and live candles was found and recent candles are being reloaded.
  • live price differs from history by x%: the live price and the last stored close disagree; recent candles are repaired automatically.

If a chip stays for a long time, read Troubleshooting.

Empty chart states

  • Loading candles… while the first request runs.
  • No candles yet for …: the coin is still preparing, or no source can serve it right now.
